Spring is my favorite time of year. Not only is the snow melting and temperatures warming up in preparation of Summer there are always great sporting events on TV. My favorite spring sport to watch has to be hockey. There is nothing quite like watching some intense playoff hockey on satelitte tv in Chicago, IL.
Compared to the other major sports hockey has to have the most exciting playoffs. Each spring you know you are going to be greeted with hard hits, fights and some exciting goals. One of the most exciting parts of hockey is all of the fights the players get into. These fights are amplified during the playoffs. The games are so intense that players are pushing and shoving each other after almost every whistle!
Also, during spring hockey the best players in the league will step up their game and show you why they are so good. It is real fun to watch players sacrifice their bodies for their team, fans and city trying to win the Stanley Cup.
While you can not go wrong with most spring sports as the NBA is starting their playoffs and baseball is just starting their season reminding you that summer is right around the corner the best spring sport to watch is hockey. None of the other major sports leagues can even compare in excitement when it comes to spring, playoff hockey.
